Acting
Dramasrus acting classes are designed for learners who wish to focus on vocal, physical, improvisation and characterization skills in their dramatic performance. Solo or in pairs, students can perform a range of play extracts from a variety of periods and styles, and engage with devised forms of theatre.
The format followed in Dramasrus acting classes allows students to select from a wide range of performance options. We focus on the literary and dramatic forms that complement student’s studies or those they want to explore further.
What you learn @ Dramasrus
- Develop a growing range of physical and characterisation skills that allow actors to create successful performances
- Practical tasks including performing extracts from plays, improvisation, answering questions in character, reworking material, sight reading and discussing your work with the examiner
- Available from Initial level to Grade 8 for solo and pair exams
